About the Role
Join our backend team to build the infrastructure that powers PortfolioDevs. You'll design and implement APIs, work with databases, and ensure our platform scales to serve thousands of developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices
- Optimize database queries and data models
- Implement authentication and authorization systems
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability
- Write comprehensive tests and documentation
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Vercel)
- Strong problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Previous startup experience
